Private Regional Bank with over $5 billion in assets is looking for someone to lead a 4-person Audit Department.
The Director of Internal Audit will manager a 4-person Audit Department, develop annual audit plans and perform other assigned duties. He/She will plan, execute, and report on audits.

Reporting directly to the Audit Committee and is responsible for:
• Planning and conducting financial and operational audits
• Reviewing discrepancies and control deficiencies and making recommendations for ensuring compliance
• Providing leadership and managing the activities of the internal audit department
• Preparing detailed oral and written report of audit findings
• Demonstrating competence in key areas of management and leadership expertise including: communication, motivation and achievement of targets
Education and Experience
• 8-12 years of relevant work experience
• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
Personal and Work Skills
• Act independently and work well with field personnel
• Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Must have effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrates good business judgment
• Communicates a “can do” attitude and positive outlook, minimizing negative behaviors
• Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
